Are you watching the seasons go by,
As we get older and another birthday arrives,
We acknowledge what we have learned in recent
Years, to embrace, discover and fulfil the next 12
Months. We belong to the circle of life, the process
That provides us with wisdom and neglects and abandon
Our youth. 365 days of continuous maturing until your
Next birthday and in a blink of an eye, time has gone by
And you wonder where it has gone... the evidence is found
On your skin that Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring
Has come and gone. Age is simply a result of time, and
Birthdays tells us what time we are. When our time runs
Out, our clocks stop and we will no longer be. Yet the
Seasons will continue...
