On the 29 February, four years ago, intern gynochologists, Jeffery and Robert delivered a baby in the back of a taxi, on the N1 of Cape Town. But was unable to save the life of the mother. On that day, same as any other day, they took a taxi home from the hospital. Whilst sitting in bumper - to - bumper traffic, a woman who was eight months pregnant went in labour. Unable to wait for the paramedics, Jeffery and Robert carefully assisted each other with the delivery of a female baby. The baby was named Hope. An ordinary day which led Jeffery and Robert to be at the right place at the right time.
Very touching story, hopfully will help open mothers eyes to what is truly important. It give hope and inspiration. Good blog post
